Together, we are blazing a path to the STARS!

Starline Elementary is a true neighborhood school. Surrounded by residences, there are no major streets bordering the school grounds. This provides for a quieter, safer school environment. The school hours are from 7:55 to 2:30 p.m. every day except on Thursday. Every other Thursday is a 1:00 p.m. early release dismissal to facilitate staff development training and collaboration.

Starline houses kindergarten through sixth grade. Art, music, and physical education teachers help to meet the needs of the whole child. Starline has a computer lab and multiple other tools available in the classroom environment (Kindles, iPads, Chromebooks, Smartboards) to train students in the effective use of technology. Weekly library classes are provided in order to promote literacy and life-long learning.

Starline is home to the district's third through sixth grade elementary gifted program. The Lake Havasu Unified School District recognizes that gifted students have unique educational needs and is committed to enabling them to develop their extraordinary abilities.

Throughout the year, multiple club and extended school day opportunities are provided for students which include: National Honor Society, Student Council, and Patriotic Club. Community and family events include: Kid City, Young Authors, Rube Goldberg Energy Night, Book Fairs, Science Fair, and Parent Teacher Association Family Fun Nights.

It is through the combined leadership of quality teaching, dedicated staff members, and student support programs that Starline's student population is prepared for learning and the successful attainment of future goals.
